Creating a Diary For the shooter who just wants to jot down notes, many generic diaries, bound hardcover notepads, spiral-bound notebooks and daily planner-style booklets are commercially manufactured and can be found in any stationary supply store. For the shooter who prefers a more regimented and detailed diary, I suggest that you sit down at a personal computer and design your own sample page. Once this page (or half-page) is to your liking, print it and bring it to a copy center and have it reproduced, stapled, bound or covered, depending on need and preference. Your only limit is your own creativity! To develop useful information over time, you should record every shoot, no matter how insignificant, Try not to think of only the highlights or of minimum information the smallest detail might end up being the one that makes a difference in your performance. To assist the shooter in designing a diary, I offer the following detailed model. Of course any item can be added or deleted to suit your needs. Please click on the Shooting Diary button, when the document loads in your browser just click the print button in your browser. Please keep in mind this is just a sample you can make your own. |
