The National workshops are designed to teach adult volunteers to teach other adult volunteers through state workshops.  It is an outstanding opportunity to expand or improve your state training team.  Workshop participants share ideas and information about their state 4-H Shooting Sports programs while enhancing their skills in teaching adults and volunteers in the use of the national curriculum materials.

As in the past, workshops have focused on official Extension Regions.  This one will focus on the Northeast Region to optimize effectiveness in reaching training teams with minimum costs.  As a result, preliminary “Intent to Participate” letters and access to travel grants are restricted to states in the Northeast Region.  States outside the Northeast Region will be allowed to participate on a “space-available” basis after all states in the Northeast Region have been given the opportunity to register.
